I suspect Wine does not handle FT request properly therefore request gets lost in Ubuntu (or in Wine). I think Wine drive paths are correct - d: drive (I made it CD-ROM from advanced) points to /media, where *.iso image gets loaded (mounted?).įT installer tells old story how it can't find RoC install, though it is in Wine c: folder (drive_c/Program Files/ Warcraft III, freehanded path).
I got Ubuntu 9.04 from now on :shades: I installed Reign of Chaos (RoC) from Blizzard on-line installer (tome?) with Wine and are trying to install the Frozen Throne (FT) from mounted *.iso image (I mounted with nautilus-mount-image_0.2.0-1_all.deb).
